History

The Department of Environmental Health is an educational institution under the Health Polytechnic of the Ministry of Health in Bandung based on the Decree of the Minister of Health and Social Welfare of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 298 / Menkes-Kessos / SK / IV / 2001 dated April 16, 2001.

A brief history of the Department of Environmental Health from its inception to the present is as follows:

1. In 1984, named the Sanitation Technology Health Inspector Academy (APK-TS) of the Department of Health of Bandung, was established based on the Decree of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 53 / Kep / Diklat / Kes / 1984, April 24, 1984.

2. In 1991, the name of the Sanitary and Environmental Health Associate Degree in Education of the Ministry of Health of Bandung, was determined based on the Decree of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 095 / Menkes / SK / II / 1991, 11 February 1991.

3. In 1993, named the Bandung Ministry of Health's Environmental Health Academy (AKL), was established based on the Decree of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 534 / Menkes / SK / VII / 1993, dated July 10, 1993.

4. Year 2001, named the Department of Environmental Health, Health Polytechnic of the Ministry of Health of Bandung, was determined based on the Decree of the Minister of Health and Social Welfare of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 298 / Menkes-Kessos / SK / IV / 2001, April 16, 2001.
